PEIL FAOI 6:
(i) Parents, friends and mentors witnessed yet another brilliant Sunday morning of Rock football on the limestone-based Caherslee GAA pitch. And we’ll have more such action from the U6/7 garsúns at 11am on Sunday next…22ú Meitheamh…i gCathair Sailí.
(ii) And our U6 Summer Academy takes place at 6pm on Thursday (19th) in Connolly Park. Newcomers always welcome. (Brian Ó Donnchú)
PEIL FAOI 7/8:
(i) On Monday evening our U7 and U8 boys welcomed the boys of Ardfert to Connolly Park for our 2nd GoGame. Brilliant end-to-end football was played in damp conditions but with all the skills on show once again.
(ii) Our Academy continues every Thursday at 6pm in CONNOLLY PARK.
(iii) Our Sunday Academy takes place at 10.55am in CAHERSLEE….but the action changes to Connolly Park on the LAST Sunday (29th) of the month. All new members welcome….fáilte roimh an domhan is a mháthair! (StJohn Hegarty)

(i) What an exciting trip our U12s had on Sunday last (15th)! They travelled all the way to the Naas Tournament and had a ball! They played the best of football among the best of players!

MINOR NEWS:
Our minors are looking forward to the County League! ‘Well done’ to Wayne, Quillinan Alex Tuohy agus mionúir Chiarraí on their 0-14 to 1-9 victory over Cavan. Let’s hope that they’ll do as well v Maigh Eo in their All-Ireland semi-final this weekend! Bhí farasbarr 0-3 ag Maigh Eo v Uíbh Fhailí sa leathchraobh eile.
PEIL FAOI 16:
(i) This week we held training on Tuesday and Thursday evenings. On Sunday last, 15th June, 26 players and three mentors headed across the County Bounds for a challenge game with Cork’s Ballincollig. A great day out was had by all, we were given a good stiff challenge from the Cork lads, we were treated with lovely hospitality from our hosts in Ballincollig GAA and spirit and banter on the bus home was really good. Well done, all!

(ii) This Thursday (19th) we’ll play in Round 1 of the County League….the Division 1B team will play away v Finuge and our Division 9 team will travel to Scartaglen. Best of luck to both teams! Hopefully, all our hard work since January will pay off and we’ll compete well in these leagues. These are the scheduled fixtures but they could change; as of now U16 football will be played on Thursday evenings….
(i) 19th June: Team A v Finuge (away); Team B v Scartaglen (away).
(ii) 26th June: Team A v Milltown (home); Team B v Na Gaeil (home).
(iii) 3rd July: Foireann A v Na Gaeil (as baile); Foireann B v Legion (ag baile).
(iv) 10th July: Foireann A – bye; Foireann B v Listowel (as baile).
(v) 17th July: Team A v Firies (ag baile); Team B v Milltown (as baile).
A month of action! We have players involved state exams at the moment and we wish them all the best. On Sunday 15th of June we will be taking the high road to Cork for an important U16 challenge game v Ballincollig. They’ll test us; tástáil mhaith atá uainn. (Ger Hobbert)
