PEIL FAOI 14:
Our two under 14 teams had good wins v Firies on Tuesday last. Outstandingly fabulous heads-up football was exhibited by our talented players….mighty footballers-in-the-making. And the players development continues gan stad gan staonadh! They were scheduled to travel, for the first time, to Finuge on Tuesday to play the locals in their second County League game. Well done, lads! Training continues on Friday evenings and on Sunday mornings and it’s very satisfying to note that good numbers of boys are putting in the hard yards. Ní bhíonn bua gan dua! Yes, these boys are working diligently at their football. Maith sibh, a bhuachaillí na Carraige! (Micko Horan; Jonathan Magnier)

PEIL FAOI 16:
(i) In the Central League (Division 1) in Connolly Park on Thursday April 10th our A Team responded in the perfect manner to the previous week’s setback with an emphatic win over our good Gaeil neighbours. Scór…AdeS: 5-21; Na Gaeil:1-5. Bua cuimsitheach! A flurry of early goals put the home side, that’s us, in control and, thanks to resolute defending, dominant midfield play and clinical shooting, we never relinquished the reins. All twenty players on the panel contributed to an excellent team performance. Next up in Division 1 is a very challenging encounter v the John Mitchel Club U16s. We travel on Thursday 17th April.
