WHAT A DAY: Members of the victorious Kerry Ladies All-Ireland football panel, including The Rock’s Aoife Ní Dhuilleáin, visited the club summer camp with the Brendan Martin Cup. Included in picture are Déaglán Ó Cuill (bainisteoir), Tim McMahon, Richie Conway, Dara Ó Lúing (bainisteoir) and Kieran Donaghy.

LÁ DÁ SAOL: Young excited Rock players with the Brendan Martin Cup.

UACHTAR REOITE: Tired but happy Rockies on the annual Camp Week trip to Siopa Chaoimhín de Barra for their well-deserved ice-cream treats….yum! yum!…and transport is, mar is gnách, from the ever-reliable Seáiní de Paor of Power Travel.

ACTION: The youngsters enjoy their week of football fun.

FAOI 14:
We look forward to the Lee Strand Football (one-day) U14 Tournament (boys born in 2010 or 2011). The games will take place on Saturday September 14th. Trial games will determine who makes the panel! It’ll have to be the best possible Austin Stack Club U14 team. Keep an eye out for group messages for details of training. (Ger Hobbert)

PEIL FAOI 15:
(i) We are delighted that our Division 1 boys, tar éis dóibh buachaint ar an nGaeltacht, have qualified for another final…their 2nd of the season…but, as the County District Competition for the U15 boys is underway, there will be a delay in playing the final. This final is expected to be played in mid-September. We will continue planning, building, working and training for this important match will have extra training sessions for the group on Sundays. Please keep an eye out for group information messages. Also…now is the time to continue putting in the ‘solo miles’ to help maintain fitness and skill levels! Yes, boys, let’s try to stay fit and injury free for the final. With the bit between the teeth, we hope to be ahead at Becher’s Brook and all the way to the final final whistle! Opposition: Na Gaeil. Up The Rock!
(ii) Our Division 6 lads were unlucky in their semi-final v GGC (Gleann Beithe, Gleann Chárthaigh agus An Cromán). We are ever so proud of their great effort, spirit and determination. Our men: Oran O’Regan; Conor Murphy, Ediart Topali, Eliot Calleja; Joe O’Halloran, Mark Foley, Oisín Cotter; Ryan Moriarty, Séamus Keenan; Diarmuid Hennessy, Kyle Yoxhall, Nathan O’Connor; David Ahern, Killian Coffey, Tadhg Somers; Liam Swords, Ewan Canty, Jayden O’Dowd, Fionn Cotter, Joe de Barra, Ryan O’Flaherty, Noah Reidy.
(iii) We have 14 players involved in the Tralee District team that played and defeated Ciarraí Láir (Mid-Kerry) in the County Championship. Result…Tralee: 2-12; Ciarraí Láir: 3-4. What a great performance by all the Tralee boys in this hotly contested fixture. Imríodh an cluiche i mBaile an Mhuilinn i gCiarraí Láir. Maith sibh, a bhuachaillí. The Tralee District team’s next game has been scheduled for this Wednesday evening (14th) in Connolly Park. Opposition: Castleisland District.
(iv) Our three boys on the North Kerry Development squad: Anraí Ó Murchú, Conchúr Ó Riagáin, Eoin Ó Mongáin. We look forward to hearing good reports on their All-Ireland final bid! Good luck, boys! Ciarraí Thuaidh Abú! (Ger Hobbert, Dan Ahern)
