MUNSTER CHAMPIONS:
(i) Everybody in the underage section of the club is delighted with the seniors’ victory in the Munster championship. The Munster intermediate football title and Corn AIB has come to The Rock. Let’s enjoy and savour the victory! We look forward to the weekend of January 4th/5th when our lads’ll challenge the champions of Ulster in the All-Ireland semi-final. Either Arva of Cavan or Ballinderry of Derry will be the opposition.
(ii) This Friday….Friday the 13th….our lads can expect a good challenge from Ardfert in the Tralee/St Brendan’s Board Championship Final i bPáirc Aibhistín de Staic at 7.30pm. Tacaigh leo! Go along and shout them on!

BILLY’S BOYS:
Our lads brought home the Munster Cup; now they’ll rest awhile and dream.
Then up and at it and train like dogs to face an Ulster team!
Yes, northern teams are hard to play, they scrounge for every ball,
But Rock Street boys can play hard, too, and do well in ruck and maul!
We’re proud, so proud, of all our men, from goalie to last sub;
Their minds are filled with pride of place and the honour of our club.
We’ll follow them thro’ thick and thin and be their 16th man.
We’ll cheer them on and shout them on and tell them: ‘YES, YOU CAN!’
………….SEA, IS FÉIDIR LINN!
ON THE AIR:
‘Well done’ to our two senior players who did us proud on the airways on Saturday….Aoife Ní Dhuilleáin who did brilliant ‘commentary’ work on ‘Clubber’ and Dylan Ó Cathasaigh a dhein agallamh an-mhaith le Liam Mac a’ Mhaoir ar Raidió na Gaeltachta. Lánmharcanna dóibh beirt!
