Our annual under 10 tournament gets underway this Thursday at 6:30 in Caherslee. This tournament of course is one the highlights of the year for the Under 10s played in memory of the late great John Galvin. “Gala”as he was affectionately known was a stalwart of the club throughout his juvenile and senior career culminating in the highlight of winning a county championship medal at wing back in 1994. He died at the tender age of 27.
The teams for this years tournament are named after four great Rockies of the present and not too distance past in Kieran Donaghy, Ronan Shanahan, Daniel Bohan and William Kirby.
