Bracker Regan Cup 2011 – Under 8 Football Round 1 The first round of matches in the 2011 Bracker Regan Cup for U8 football was played on Thursday evening, 29th September at Connolly Park. Hornets 6-04 to Spiders 4-05 Hornets, captained by Evan Foley got their campaign off to a winning start with a 5 points victory over Spiders, led by Jordan Kissane. This was a closely fought contest played by two very skilful and committed sides which Hornets won win a few well taken scores just before the final whistle.

Wasps 6-03 to Bees 5-06 The Wasps versus Bees clash ended in a draw following a ding-dong battle. This game, between two evenly matched sides, provided wonderful entertainment and all who witnessed it agreed that a share of the points was a fitting outcome.
