WEBSITE: We are glad to announce that our website is now active again.
Well done to Paudie Commane and his backroom team who have been working nonstop over the past few weeks to achieve this.
CLUB MERCHANDISE: The Club is now stocking the new range of merchandise in its newly opened Shop in the Clubrooms. For the moment the opening hours are from 2.30pm to 4pm on Saturdays.
The merchandise includes gear, leisurewear, replica jerseys, shorts, socks, rain jackets, hoodies, polo shirts, grandad shirts, baseball caps and woolly hats – all featuring the new Club logo and available exclusively through the Club.
The range features products never previously available to the Club and is proving very popular. The items are great for birthday and Christmas presents etc.
CLUBHOUSE: Bookings are now being taken again for any parties on Friday nights, and also Saturdays and Sundays.
SENIOR CITIZENS PARTY: There was a huge turn-out for the Annual Party in the Clubhouse last Sunday. A special thanks to the Ladies of the Stacks Club who did the catering on the day and to all the musicians and singers, too numerous to mention, who provided the entertainment.
The event could never be as successful as it is without the generous sponsorship it receives. Grateful thanks in this regard to Terry Healy Butchers, Lee Strand Co-op, Hynes Quickpick, The Tralee Lions Club, The Shanakill Resource Centre and Harmac Events. And of course the whole event is arragned and co-ordinated by the one and only Denis O’Connor.
CLUB AGM: The Club AGM takes place in the Clubhouse on this Sunday morning (21st Dec) at 11.30.
BIRTHDAY GREETINGS: to Jimmy Foley, the long-serving Chairman of the Tralee District Board who celebrated a very youthful-looking 70 years recently.
BINGO: Our weekly session continues on this and every Saturday night at 8.30pm.
