County League Divsion 6
Round 2 Dr Crokes C 1-7 Austin Stacks B 0-21
Our Bs made it two from two in their Division 6 campaign with a comprehensive victory over a weakened Dr Crokes C side. The match was over as a contest early with our boys rushing into a 0-13 to 0-1 lead at the break with a breathtaking opening half display.
Having seen off Tousist in the opening game our charges were enhanced this time with the inclusion of Ben Quilter, the Lucid brothers Paddy and Dave in midfield and the returning from exile of Brendan Caball. Up front the combinations of the Bastible brothers, Shane and Cormac, were too hot to handle for the Crokes with Cormac in particular in devastating form contributing 11 points.
Up next are Ballylongford on Sunday at 2pm in Connolly Park.

County League Divison 7B
Round 2 Austin Stacks C 1-19 Kenmare C 4-6
After a disappointing opening round defeat to Clounmacon our Cs got their campaign back on track with a hard fought victory over Kenmare. We began the game slowly conceding 2-1 in the opening ten minutes but steadied to lead 1-11 to 2-2 at half time with minor Jake Carmody and Rory Lynch to the fore.
Our positive display continued in the 2nd half with the ageless Joey Kinsella dropping into midfield feeding the returning David Courtney, with AS legend Wayne Guthrie also making a welcome cameo appearance late on as we ran out four point winners.
