Following two busy and successful days of football in Connolly Park, below are the results of the tournament and photos of trophy presentations.
Abie Allen Plate Final: Kerins O’Rahillys 3-9 Na Gaeil 4-8. Paddy Allen of Na Piarsaigh, Cork and brother of the late Abie Allen presented Na Gaeil captain, Sean Barrett with the Abie Allen Plate and the Player of the Match award to Liam Cooper, also of Na Gaeil.
Billy Breen Memorial Shield: Naas 2-11 Oranmore Maree 4-10. Eanna Costello, captain of Oranmore was presented with the Billy Breen Shield. Harry Kealy of Oranmore received the player of the Match award.
Denis O’Connor/Lee Strand Cup Final: Clontarf 3-8 Austin Stacks 2-9. Jerry O’Dwyer of Lee Strand, Nora O’Connor and Mike Lynch (Austin Stacks juvenile secretary)presented Clontarf captain, Luke O’Boyle with the Cup. Jerry O’Dwyer presented the Player of the Match award to Senan Ryan of Clontarf. Joe Sheppard of Clontarf was the Player of the Tournament and he was presented with the James Hobbert Memorial trophy by Nora O’Connor.
