HAPPY BIRTHDAY: Our long-serving President, Fr. Micheal Galvin celebrates his 90th birthday on next Monday (Easter Monday).
Everyone in the Club, in the local Community and in all the Parishes he served throughout the Kerry Dioceses during the past 65 years wish you a very happy birthday Fr. Micheal and many more birthdays to come.

MEMBERSHIP: since the start of the year we have been providing a facility for people who wish to renew membership or take out new membership, whereby Registrar Tadhg McMahon has been in the Clubhouse on Monday nights between 8.30 and 9.30.
We have to say that the uptake so far has been below expectations. We will continue with this facility for a few weeks more and then a closing date will be announced. Anyone who hasn’t become a member by that date will not be entitled, for example, to apply to the Club for match tickets for the Munster and All Ireland Championships
MINOR B FOOTBALL: We are away to Ballyduff on this to Good Friday afternoon (10th April) with a 4pm throw in.
The final game in the group stages, which is a home game against Glenbeigh-Glencar, goes ahead on Friday week, 17th April.
LA NA gCLUB: GAA HQ has designated Sunday, 10th May as La na gClub to celebrate 125 years of GAA activity.
The Club’s organising sub-committee under the stewardship of Tim McMahon has already an outline programme drawn-up for the day.
This will commence with Mass in St.Brendan’s Church at 12.30 followed by a parade to the Club HQ in Connolly Park at which a variety of activity will take place. This will include games at Juvenile and Adult level.
At 6pm there will be a Tra na gCeist. At 8pm there will be the unveiling of the All Star pictures and the day will conclude with Ceol and Craic starting at 9pm.

CLUB DVD: The Video which was made a few years ago on the History of the Club is now available in DVD format and may be purchased in our Merchandise Shop for E15.
CLUB MERCHANDISE: The Club’s new range of merchandise which is now available in our newly opened Shop in the Clubrooms can now be viewed in our new catelogoe.
The Shop can now be accessed by contacting our Bar Manager, Treacy.
ROCK GOLF SOCIETY: Lackabane G.C. is the venue on this Easter Saturday (11th April) for our April outing.
Tee-Time is 10.40 and the outing is kindly sponsored by Brookfield College.
Prize presentations will take place in The Greyhound Bar at 8pm on Saturday night.

CLUBHOUSE: The Clubhouse is the place to be on this Easter Sunday night when Francie The Mean Machine Breen will be playing music from the 60s, 70s and 80s from 9pm onwards. An enjoyable night is always assured with Francie at the helm.
In the meantime bookings are now being taken again for any parties on Friday nights, and also Saturdays and Sundays.
BINGO: Our weekly session continues on this and every Saturday night at 8.30pm.
CARDS: The 45 Cards Sessions continue on Mondays and Thursdays at 9.30pm.
GREYHOUND SYNDICATE: Everyone in the Greyhound syndicate offers their sincere sympathy to Jim O’Donnell (and the O’Donnell family) on the death of his father, Bruddy (see sympathy column).
Next Monday’s (13th April) Jackpot will be worth E4,300.
SYMPATHY: Sincere sympathy is offered to the families of Paul Turner, Gallowfields; and Bruddy O’Donnell, Cloonbeg Terrace (Bruddy was a regular on the Kerry SF teams of the 1940s, and played in that famous Polo Grounds final in 1947. He won 2 Co. Championship medals with John Mitchels in 1947 and 1952) who died during the past week.
