The day will commence with Mass in St.Brendan’s Church at 12.30 followed by a parade to the Club HQ at Connolly Park.
A variety of Field Activities will take place between 2pm and 6pm. This will include a BBQ, exhibition games at Juvenile and Adult level, Mentors Match, CIC Fada, POC Fada and Rounders.
At 6pm there will be a Tra na gCeist (A Family Fun Quiz). At 8pm there will be the unveiling of the All Star pictures (Male and Female) and the day will conclude with Ceol agus Craic starting at 9pm.
We would like to thank Chairman Ger Reidy and the Club’s organising sub-committee under the stewardship of Tim McMahon and Canice Walsh and everyone else involved in putting together an excellent programme for the day.
We would like to remind all mentors at Juvenile and Adult levels that no training or games are to take place on this Sunday except those organised by the subcommittee for the occasion.
SENIOR FOOTBALL: Dingle 0-10; Austin Stacks 0-9.
We suffered our first defeat of the season when loosing this first round Club Championship game by the narrowest of margins to Dingle in Connolly Park last Sunday afternoon.
We lead on just one occasion during the hour. That was in the 21st minute. Dingle added two more before the interval to leave them ahead by six points to five at the break.
The second half saw both sides with periods of dominance but the West Kerry side held out for a one point victory.
