MEMBERSHIP: In accordance with the GAA’s Constitution the closing date for the renewal of membership is this Friday 31st July.
Anyone who hasn’t paid their membership fee by that date cannot, for example, have their names put forward for positions on the Club Executive for 2010, or have their names included in any draw for All Ireland tickets.
ALL IRELAND QUARTER FINALS: Croke Park is the venue for this Bank Holiday Monday’s (3rd August) quarter finals. The Kerry Minors play Roscommon at 12 noon and the Seniors play Dublin at 2pm. Best of luck to both teams and to Shane and Daniel also.
Tickets for the game will be distributed to members on this Wednesday evening (29th July) from 8 to 9pm.
SENIOR FOOTBALL: Legion 1-7; Austin Stacks 1-6.
In round 7 of the Co. League played in Connolly Park last Saturday evening (25th July) we suffered our second consecutive defeat of the season, going down by just one point to Legion.
At half time we trailed also by one point (five points to four).

SENIOR HURLING: Round 7 of the Co. League goes ahead in Lixnaw on this Wednesday evening (29th July) with a 7.30pm throw-in.
The postponed round 6 game against Duagh is scheduled to go ahead in Connolly Park on this Bank Holiday Saturday (1st August) at 7.30pm.
JUNIOR B FOOTBALL: We are due to play Kerins O’Rahillys in the Town League final on this Friday evening (31st July) at 7.30pm. The venue is Strand Road. Check with Club beforehand.
JUNIOR C FOOTBALL: As we write the empass with the Co. Board regarding our C team is still unresolved.
U21 FOOTBALL: We began the defence of our U21 Club Championship title with an away game against Ballydonoghue last evening (28th July), too late for inclusion in this week’s Notes.
MINOR HURLING: Our Minor Hurlers were defeated by Lixnaw last Monday envening (27th July) in Connolly Park.
The game doubled as the preliminary round of the MH Co. Championship and round 4 of the Co. League.
