MEMBERSHIP: Club membership for the coming season is now open. To facilitate people who wish to renew membership or take out new membership, Registrar Tadhg McMahon will be in the Clubhouse on Monday nights between 8.30 and 9.30 for the next few weeks.

CLUB MERCHANDISE: The Club is now stocking the new range of merchandise in its newly opened Shop in the Clubrooms. For the moment the opening hours are from 2.30pm to 4pm on Saturdays and also during the Bingo on Saturday night.
The merchandise includes gear, leisurewear, replica jerseys, shorts, socks, rain jackets, hoodies, polo shirts, grandad shirts, baseball caps and woolly hats – all featuring the new Club logo and available exclusively through the Club.
The range features products never previously available to the Club and is proving very popular. The items are great for presents for birthday and other occasions.
BIRTHDAY GREETINGS: Everyone in the Club sends greetings to two great Rockies who are celebrating birthdays this week.
Joe O’Mahony of Radio Kerry fame and former player and PRO celebrated his birthday on Tuesday last (27th Jan) and Charlie Healy, who steered the C team to so many County Championship and County League victories between 1997 and 2005, celebrates a significant birthday on this coming Sunday (1st February).
CONGRATULATIONS: to Jim Griffin and Maria Fernane (Carrigeendaniel) who are celebrating their 40th wedding anniversary on this Thursday (29th January).
ROCK GOLF SOCIETY: Unfortunately the Ring of Kerry course was closed last saturday. So we will try again this saturday.
Tee- Time is 10.00 and the event is kindly sponsored by Loramar Gift Shop,Rock Street.
Membership can be paid on saturday (30 euro) and new members are welcome.

CARDS: The 45 Cards Sessions continue on Mondays and Thursdays at 9.30pm.
Everyone at the Card session as well as in the wider community was shocked to learn of the tragic death in a car accident of Thomas Conway (see sympathy). Thomas’ father Jerry plays cards occasionally and we send him and his family our deepest sympathy.
LOTTO: Last Monday’s (26th January) Jackpot worth €3,200 was not won. The numbers drawn were 8, 12, 17, 27.
The €100 prize was won by Tony O’Sullivan, c/o Eddie; with €20 each going to Paddy O’Donnell and Dominick O’Brien, both c/o Eddie O’Sullivan; Declan Mangan, Harry Hynes and Wayne Quillinan, all c/o Club Rockies.
Next Monday’s (2nd February) Jackpot will be worth €3,300.
