MEMBERSHIP: Club membership for the coming season is now open. To facilitate people who wish to renew membership or take out new membership, Registrar Tadhg McMahon will be in the Clubhouse on Monday nights between 8.30 and 9.30 for the next few weeks.

MINOR FOOTBALLERS: Our A Team get their Co. League campaign underway this weekend with a home game against Dingle.
The game throws in at 4pm in Connolly Park on this Saturday (28th Feb).
On the following Saturday in Round 2 we are away to Killarney Legion.
Our B Team who are in Division 5A have a bye in the Co. League this weekend and they open their Co. League campaign at home to Sneem/Derrynane on Saturday week (7th March).
In the meantime they are scheduled to play St. Pats in Connolly Park on this Sunday afternoon in the Town League. Check with Club about this game.
SENIOR FOOTBALL: Our Seniors get their season underway on this Sunday (1st March) with a home game against Kerins O’Rahillys in round 1 of the Town League. Throw in 12 noon.
Meanwhile the Co. League fixtures have been released. This year we have six home game and five away games.
Our home games are against Glenflesk (19th April); Finuge (24th May); Mitchels (31st May); Legion (26th July); Currow (6th Sept); and Dingle (tba).
Our away games are against Annascaul (5th April); Beale (10th May); Skellig Rangers (28th June or 5th July); Desmonds (16th Aug) and Kilcummin (27th Sept).
CONGRATULATIONS: to St. Michaels Foilmore and Skellig Rangers on winning their respective All Ireland titles in the Intermediate and Junior Club Championships.
CLUB DVD: The Video which was made a few years ago on the History of the Club is now available in DVD format and may be purchased in our Merchandise Shop for E15.
CLUB MERCHANDISE: The Club’s new range of merchandise which is now available in our newly opened Shop in the Clubrooms can now be viewed in our new catelogoe.

ROCK GOLF SOCIETY: The Society’s next Outing is to Mahoney’s Point on Saturday 21st March.
CLUBHOUSE: Bookings are now being taken again for any parties on Friday nights, and also Saturdays and Sundays.
BINGO: Our weekly session continues on this and every Saturday night at 8.30pm.
CARDS: The 45 Cards Sessions continue on Mondays and Thursdays at 9.30pm.
Everyone in the Cards sends birthday greetings to Lyn Curtin who celebrated a significant one during the week.
LOTTO: Last Monday’s (23rd February) Jackpot worth €3,600 was not won. The numbers drawn were 2, 5, 18, 19.
The €100 prize was won by David Guerin, c/o Club Rockies; with €20 each going to Christine Murphy and Ger O’Keeffe, both c/o The Club; Diarmuid Lawlor, c/o The Cards; Donie Houlihan, c/o Eddie O’Sullivan; and Elma Nix, c/o Club Rockies.
Next Monday’s (2nd March) Jackpot will be worth €3,700.
SYMPATHY: Sincere sympathy is offered to the families Cyril Kelly, Pairc na Dun, Caherslee; John Sheehan, The Bungalows, Stacks Villas; Margaret Griffin, Mitchels Avenue; Charles Curtin, Lissanearla; Peig Ni Bhrosnachain, Urban Terrace, Boherbee; Mick Murphy, Ventry (Mick was part of that legendary Kerry team that beat Dublin in that famous All Ireland final of 1955. He scored 3-4 during that 5 game Championship campaign. He won a Co. Championship title with Strand Road in 1957 and captained Kerry during the 1958 season); Donie Rooney, Park View, Oakpark; Sean O’Mahony, Listrim and late of Caherslee; and Mary O’Connell, Tonevane and late of Spa Road and Boherbee who died during the past week.
