PEIL FAOI 14: (i) Our U14s enjoyed a very competitive game v Ballina Stephenites on Saturday last. Thanks to Lisa for feeding our guests as well as our own lads. (ii) The U14 County League will commence on Tuesday 31st March. (iii) Training for the U14 boys will take place, with coaches Seanachán Magnier, Wayne Cuileannáin, Brandán Mac Gabhann, Theo Ó Duigín, Wayne Guthrie, Aindriú Ó Muiríosa (má tá sé tagaithe abhaile ó na hOscars!) and Stiofán Ó Conbhuí, in The Green Astro Turf pitch on Friday from 7pm to 8pm.

It was a unique day in the history of the school…hoping for a first ever Hogan Cup final victory for Tralee CBS. An freasúra: St Mary’s, Mullingar. We are so proud of our Rock boys on the panel: Oliver Lata, Fionnán Ryan, Ronan Carroll and Eoin Mangan. Rinne siad a seacht ndícheall! (ii) And this Saturday the school travels again…to Mullingar for the U19 Hurling B equivalent. Imreoidh siad v Coláiste Phádraig, Machaire Rátha (Maghera), Contae Dhoire. The Paddy Buggy Cup awaits the winners. Dúshlán mór d’iománaithe na Faiche! Hopes are high after a wonderful 0-2 victory over Galway’s Pobalscoil Phort Omna. What a year for The Green! (iii) Viva la, the Blue and Gold; viva la, our heroes bold; viva la, may we not fail to bring the cup to Tralee’s Vale! (From an old Tralee CBS rallying chant!)
