CAID FAOI 11/12: (i) The U11 boys are still talking about their great and enjoyable trip to Naas. Our U12s travelled to Miltown on Friday and, despite the warm conditions, both Rock teams produced excellent performances.
The standard of football was very high throughout, with our boys showing great skill, teamwork and determination. Across both matches, there was some excellent kick passing, brave blocking and accurate score-taking, with the lads working hard for each other from start to finish.
Just as importantly, the players represented Austin Stacks well in the way they conducted themselves, showing great respect to the referees and their opponents throughout the evening.
It was a very enjoyable evening’s football and the coaches were very happy with the effort, attitude and quality shown by both teams. The continued improvement across the panel is clear to see, and the boys should be very proud of their performances. Colin Teahon
