Wonderful scenes when Armin sealed the victory with a brilliant goal into the canal, proud
moment for everyone. Small matter of the Dubs now in two weeks at HQ.
Fixtures:
In the final round of the county league we have Legion in Division 1 on Sunday at
2pm at home and Kilcummin away in Division 6 on Friday at 7.30pm. The Bs need a win and
to hope that Glenflesk beat Legion to seal promotion which would be fantastic progress. Our
C team play Strand Road in Division 7B on Sunday at 12pm in Connolly Park.
U21 Football:
Our U21 team delivered a magnificent performance to down a fancied East Kerry outftt last
Tuesday in Fossa. Driven on by Alex Tuohy and Luke Casey at midfield with Gavin Casey
hoovering up ball all over the pitch, this was a great performance by all 17 that played in a
cracker of a game. We trailed by a point at half time and were still down with 10 to go but we
took over from there on the kick outs and deservedly ran out 0-20 to 0-16 winners. We travel
to Keel this Tuesday to take on Mid Kerry in the Quarter Final at 7.30pm!
