Girls ‘Magic’ Football Academy: Our U6, U8 and U10 girls are back in Connolly Park this Sunday May 26th at 11am. Football Fun, games and skills drills for our U6s while our U8 and U10 girls will host Na Gaeil for some fun challenge games.
Save the Date: Our U8 and U10 girls will participate in this year’s Munster LGFA U8 & U10s Festival Day taking place in Tralee this year (hosted by KOR) on Saturday July 13th.
Club Summer Camp: The dates for the Austin Stacks Club Summer Camp have been announced. The camp for both boys and girls will take place in Connolly Park from Tuesday August 6th to Saturday August 10th from 9.30am to 1pm daily.
U12 Girls: Teams Black and Amber head to Churchill at 6pm this Tuesday evening (May 21st) to play another round of the North Kerry Go Games League
U14 Girls: Our U14A team had a good Co League home win V Ballymac last Sunday morning – see match report and photos on club socials. Our U14B team lost out to Churchill B in a game played last Sunday evening in Connolly Park (match report on club socials). Upcoming fixtures: U14B Co. League Div 8 home V KOR at 5pm on Sunday May 26th, while our A team will be home to Fossa (match details TBC).
U16: All rounds of the North Kerry League have now been played. We have qualified for the Shield Final and are set to play Na Gaeil. Match details TBC. Training goes ahead this Thursday evening.
Minor Girls: Minor Co League: Div 5 FT Austin Stacks 4-5 (17) Kilcummin/Currow 1-11 (14). Team: Shauna Harris, Deirdre Quigley, Claire Counihan, Robyn Mac Namara, Amy Scanlon, Kaja Huserova, Kara Kirby, Ellen Lucey, Aoibhinn Hennessy, Emma Counihan, Holly O Brien, Aoife Begley, Grace Lucid, Amber Ryan, Aisleigh Horan, Penny Costello, Aine Gibbons & Chelsea Moriarty. Scorers Holly O’Brien 0-4, Grace Lucid 1-1 Aoife Begley 2-0 Amber Ryan 1-0. The win makes it 3 League wins out of 3; our final round sees us at home to Annascaul/Castlegregory at 7pm this Tuesday May 21st.
Senior Ladies: As a mark of respect to the family of the late Edel O’Sullivan, Valentia (sister of Club players Brendan, Paul & Nicola) our Cara Credit Union Donal Curtin Cup RD 7 game V Legion did not go ahead last Sunday. Everyone in the club extends their sympathy to the O’Sullivan family at this sad time This game will be re-fixed (possibly to Friday May 31st). This Sunday we’ll play our back game RD 5 V Annascaul/Castlegregory at 11am in Annascaul.
Kerry: Congratulations to Darragh Long (manager) and Club Player Aoife Dillane who captured the Munster Senior Ladies football title (1st time since 2017) last Saturday following a fantastic win over Cork last in Mallow.
