Girls Academy – In a change of plan to facilitate our U10 girls, our proposed trip out to Listowel Emmets will be re-scheduled. Our U6 & U8 girls will train as usual in Connolly Park at 11am this Sunday while our U10’s will participate in the U10 county blitz taking place from 1pm to 4pm in Fossa GAA grounds. Games will be 11 a side. Best of luck girls.
U12 Girls: Congratulations to our U12A team on a fantastic performance and victory V Glenflesk last Wedneday evening in Co. League Div 3. In goals Arina played so well and is developing into an excellent goal keeper making some fantastic saves from long range tricky shots. Our full back line of Lexi Clodagh and Keria were rock solid all game . The half back line of Eabha Chloe and Maria were fighting for and winning some great possession from our own kick outs which really set up some great attacking play. Glenflesk put us under pressure down our left side . Special mention has to be made to both Maria and Keria who were both outstanding tonight. Our midfield of Aoibhinn and Sofia really dominated the middle of the park and supplied some great ball into the forwards. Our half forwards of Ruth Chelsea and Mary put the glenflesk goal keeper under serious pressure from her kick out and they really used the ball efficiently and took some great scores of their own. Our full forward line of Ciara Dibora and Amelie all contributed with Goals and points and it was great to see them playing off each other to great effect . We have a fantastic squad of players and we are in a great position to be able to bring both Shauna and Sophie off the bench when legs got tired and both girls really strengthened our performance and linked up really well in the backs and forwards respectively. FT Glenflesk 1-5 Austin Stacks 4-14 . This Week our B’s are away to St. Pats Blennerville at 6pm on Mon (June 6th) and our A team are away to Dr. Crokes at 7pm on Wednesday June 7th.
U14 Girls: This Wednesday evening we will be home to MKL Gaels in Rd. 2 of the Co. League at 6.30pm. Reminder new Training times now 5.30pm to 6.30pm on Mondays and Thursdays.
U16 Girls: We have qualified for this year’s Co. League Div 1 Semi Final, where we will play away to Southern Gaels. Castleisland V Cromane is the other semi-final pairing. These games fixed for July 5th
Senior Ladies: There is a break in competition now to facilitate Leaving Cert students our next game will be at home to MKL Gaels on June 26th in the final round of the Donal Curtin Cup Competition.

Rock Goes Pink for Lauren: The Rock turned pink on Wednesday evening for the start of Lauren Barrett’s fundraising 100k in June for Breast Cancer Ireland. Her football colleagues and family ran and walked 5km along the route used for the recent Paul Lucey Memorial Fun Run at Austin Stacks Club.
