It happened 25 years ago on this date (Sunday, 3rd July 1994). It was the first round of that season’s SF Co. Championship – a Championship which we won later that year. The game, against Beale, was played in Austin Stack Park and the record we set on that day was achieving our highest score in Senior Co. Championship football (6-22) and also our biggest winning margin (32 pts). Only on one other occasion did we score 6 goals in a Co. Championship game – that was away back in 1937 against a South Kerry side that was then known as Iveragh.
