The finals of the Bracker Regan and Barry Cups for Boys u-6 and u-8 were held in glorious sunshine at Connolly Park headquarters on Sunday 21st October. The action for the under 6 was preceded by a parade with flags, followed by a musical rendition of “Amhrann na bhFiann.” The large gathering of parents and supporters were treated to a wonderful display of football skills from all these young footballers. Victors of the Jimmy Barry Cup (U6) were the “Super Stars” under the captaincy of Brandon Healy. The Kevin Barry Cup (U8) was won by “Eagles,” who were captained by Donnacha Sayers. The Bracker Regan Cup (U8) was won by “Falcons,” captained by Josh Lynch. Congratulations to all who took part, to the organisers and coaches of the various teams for a very successful conclusion to the u6 and 8 league.
