Ladies Club Notes 21st January, 2020.

Girls Academy – U6, U8 and U10 Girls football recommences on Sunday Feb 16th in the Green School Gym – 6 & 8s at 11am and U10s at 12 noon. New players very welcome. Enquires to 086 1053300

U12 Girls:  Presentation of end of year medals for our U12 girls took place in the club last Monday night.  Congratulations on the team and coaches on their outstanding year in 2019.  The U12’s had over 30 players during their year.  They won the Tralee Town League Div. 1 Cup and the North Kerry Div. 1 Perpetual Cup.    Medals were presented to the girls by Dave Scanlon, Grainne O’Sullivan and Karen Griffin.

U14 Girls:   The U14’s had a squad of almost 40 for their 2019 campaign.  They won Co. Div.5 League Cup for non-county players and the North Kerry U13 Sandra Keane Memorial Tournament Cup. Medals for both competitions were presented to the girls by Anthony Moriarty, Siobhan Quigley and Aidan Lucid.  Thanks and acknowledgements to all involved with the Ladies Club – main sponsor Terrys Butchers; trainers and parents and to the Austin Stacks Social Committee for providing food and refreshments after the awards ceremony.

Our U14 girls will recommence training on Sat Feb 1st in Connolly Park from 10am-11.30am.  New players welcome.

U16 Girls: Training for the 2020 season has re-commenced and takes place at 8pm every Tuesday night at Tralee Sports Complex. €3 per player to cover cost of pitch hire. Players asked to be there for 7.50pm. Bring warm clothes and water. No steel studs allowed.

Senior ladies will join in training with the the U16s at Tralee Sports Complex on Tuesday nights and continue gym sessions on Friday nights. New players welcome.

Annual Clothes Recycling Fundraiser Sat 15th February asking everyone to start collecting in advance. We will accept – Mens, Womens & Childrens Clothing, Household Textiles ie Curtains & Towels, Soft toys, Shoes, Handbags, Belts. We cannot accept duvets or pillows. All items must be clean & dry.
