16B’s Join A’s in Semi’s

Under 16 Central League Div 3   Keel 5-3 Austin Stacks B 4-6  
Although our final round game had no bearing on league standing our an experimental16B’s side did well to snatch a draw in Keel on Monday evening. Keel were given dispensation to play only 11 a side which meant we had to follow suit with both James O’Connor and Dylan Harnett rested in the first half. We tailed at the break by 1 pt with Adam Barrett and Richard Hurley getting our two goals in this period, as well as two points by Niall Carroll Cane. We made no fewer than six substitutions in the second half most notable being Ryan Keeley’s introduction as he found the net beautifully almost immediately.However we trailed for most of the second half until a final flurry of a point from captain Aidan McQuinn and then in the dying moments a solo run from Ciaran Flanagan ended with him crashing the ball to the net with his left foot to put us on terms at the final whistle.
